Nike x Hyperice Air Zoom Hyperslide: Everything to know before launch

TL;DR: Nike and Hyperice are launching the Air Zoom Hyperslide, a recovery slide combining Nike’s Air Zoom cushioning with detachable Hyperice Venom Go pods that deliver heat and vibration in 15-minute cycles. It launches Sept. 29 at Nike and Hyperice online stores and select retailers globally.

Your post-workout routine is about to get a serious upgrade.

Nike and Hyperice — the recovery brand behind the percussion massage guns you’ve definitely seen at the gym — are teaming up again. Meet the Nike Air Zoom Hyperslide: a wearable recovery slide that combines Nike’s cushioning with Hyperice’s heat and vibration tech, built to help your feet unwind after a workout, a long flight, or just a long day on your feet.

It’s the second product to come out of the Nike and Hyperice partnership, following the Hyperboot, which was designed for warming up before you perform.

Tucked into the slide’s adjustable strap is a removable, magnetic Hyperslide Pod that delivers targeted heat and vibration to the top of your foot. You get three heat settings (up to a toasty 117 degrees Fahrenheit), three vibration settings, and 15-minute recovery cycles. Battery life clocks in at one hour, and the slide is TSA-friendly, so you can pack it for your next trip without a second thought.

Nike says the design was shaped by feedback from elite and everyday athletes alike, including Liverpool defender Virgil van Dijk, who put it simply: “The Hyperice heat and vibration help my feet recover as quickly as possible, while the Nike Air Zoom cushioning makes it feel incredibly comfortable.” Tobie Hatfield, Nike’s senior director of athlete innovation, added that the goal was a slide that “kickstarts recovery the moment you power it up.”

The Nike Air Zoom Hyperslide drops Sept. 29 in select markets at Nike, Hyperice, and select retail locations globally. Pricing hasn’t been announced yet, but if your feet have ever begged for mercy after a run, this one might be worth keeping an eye on.
