Get ready for your emoji to change if you use Gboard on an Android phone.
Google’s emoji keyboard is undergoing a design change that’ll hopefully make things cleaner and easier to use. Gboard removed the “All” interface. In its place, Gboard redesigned the emoji, sticker, and GIF icons, enlarging them and making your choices more clear. 9to5Google spotted the change and published images showing the differences. Right now the changes are only in Gboard’s latest beta.

9to5Google also spotted some other minor changes, such as a flat toolbar instead of an elevated one. Overall the changes are pretty small, but they’re the kinds of thing that’ll make you go, “Hmm, this is weird!” when you go to find an emoji.
So your emoji world won’t be turned upside down, but it might be shifted a bit.
